Paul Harrison is qualified in high class jazz music. All kinds of concerts - from jazz club, festival, rhythmic clubs, happenings and receptions, to private parties as weddings, birthdays or any other occasion.

The British bandleader has toured and played all over Denmark, since he settled here in 1998. With a successful professional band, and over the years one of the most requested, he has made himself a highly respected name on the jazz scene. With Band, Quartet or Trio, Harrison has captured fans and jazz lovers, with his true dedication to playing and a musical swinging kick.

 

The music has it roots in classical rhythmic jazz, exposed through Harrison’s characteristic and energetic style of playing. With a strong melodic theme, tight arrangements and a catchy repertoire, which appeals to a very wide audience.

Entertaining, lively and unorthodox, varied between well known and rare tunes, between an impressively carried up-tempo and slow beautiful ballades. 

Paul Harrison Band counts 5 regular members, from which Harrison is in front on clarinet, soprano sax and alto sax. Joined by piano/vocals, guitar, double bass and drums. In 2008 he has invited new younger musicians, so there will be a refreshing sound, still with Harrison focusing on the musical spot, where the audience knows him best. The band will also present other professional soloists, mainly trombone players and singers. Previous as well as new faces will appear.

Occasionally Harrison plays with other musical fellows. From Band to Trio, it’s possible to make combinations, matching different arrangements. Including special requests of soloists or certain instrumental set up.

Harrison is also available for guest appearances.
